Speed-O-Guide Attachments Sizes And Guidelines

"So I just ordered the set of 6 speed o guide combs for my andis fade master. They are numbered differently then I'm used to for example, one might say 3/16. How do these numbers correlate with what people usually say, 1, 2, 3 etc. Someone please help me out."

I notice there is a very small fraction of a different in guard attachment sizes, depending on the manufacturer. The smaller the guard, the lower the haircut. To make it very simple, number your guards #1, #2, #3, #4 and so on. Most people will ask for sizes with numbers, (such as; Can I get a #1 on the side and a #4 on top?), or (a #2 fade on the side and just trim the top).

SPEED-O-GUIDE ATTACHMENTS Sizes: There are 7 different the sizes total.

I personally prefer the 00 to use as my #1 because the 000 (1/32) is very fragile, and the clipper eats through the teeth very quickly, causing you to replace it often. And the 00 is only a fraction of a difference, from the 000.

Here I listed them from the first guard to the last, #1-#7

  • #000 (1/32")
  • #00 (1/16")
  • #0 (3/16")
  • #0A (5/16")
  • #1 (7/16")
  • #1A (9/16")
  • #2 (11/16")
